The only university in the country located on its own island, the school is one of the most beautiful, scenic places a student can learn. 3. University of Hawaii at Manoa

4. Eckerd College
Located minutes away from St. Pete beach, Eckerd College sits at the mouth of Tampa Bay in Florida. The school works closely with the U.S. Coast Guard with its own search and rescue team. The ocean theme includes the name of its varsity sports teams, the Tritons, which compete in NCAA Division II.
5. Coastal Carolina University
The name speaks for itself as this breathtaking university is located only 10 miles from Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. The school was founded in 1954 to improve the educational and cultural capacities of the region. It is now the fourth largest institution in the state.
